Navy Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) offers highly motivated students an opportunity to work in a medical environment with the nation's top physicians and nurses at one of the most advanced medical facilities in the world.

NMCP is committed to attracting the best and brightest applicants. SEEP helps us with this effort by providing highly qualified pool of young professionals who can aid in our mission. Your skills and talents will contribute directly to NMCP'S goals.

Stand Behind Those who Serve and become a part of Medicine with a Mission.

STUDENT CAREER EXPERIENCE PROGRAM (SCEP)

The Student Career Experience Program (SCEP), usually known as "Co-Op," provides work experience directly related to your field of study and career goals. Many NMCP SCEP positions focus on medical technology, administration and science. SCEP provides valuable, paid work experience while you're still in school. SCEP is a shared commitment that requires a signed agreement between you, your school and NMCP.

STUDENT TEMPORARY EXPERIENCE PROGRAM (STEP)

The Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP) provides an opportunity to gain valuable professional experience in a flexible federal environment. Because the positions are temporary, your work does not have to be directly related to your field of study or long range career goals. STEP can range from summer employment to positions that can last for as long as you're a student.
