SHELIA BENNETT MANAGEMENT ANALYST
I have been with NMCP since May of 1994. I started as an Office Automation Clerk in Family Advocacy. After three years I transferred to the ENT department where I was a director-level secretary.
In 1998 I was promoted to a director-level supervisory position that I stayed in until 2004. I then moved to Human Resources to be a management analyst and have been promoted several times within this position.
I stay at NMCP because I love the people; it is a very diverse place to work. I have contact with military, contract and civilian people and get to experience not only different roles but different cultures.
There is a sense of pride working for the military because you are helping someone who is serving and defending our country. I come from a military family, but the real reason I work for the military is the sense of pride I experience every day. At NMCP we are helping people who are serving and defending our country, it doesn't get any better than that.
If you have drive, motivation and a sense of ownership about your career, you will do well at NMCP.
